Rudy Giuliani Steps into Spotlight Again on January 6th
In a press conference earlier today, Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York and personal attorney to the former President, made an interesting claim about the events of January 6th.
“I was actually there, leading a peaceful yoga session on the Capitol steps,” said Giuliani. “We were hoping to bring some tranquility to the chaotic political scene.”
His statement, which contradicts documented footage and live broadcasts from the day, has raised eyebrows. However, Giuliani remains steadfast in his account.
“People may say I was inciting a riot, but I assure you, it was a warrior pose, not a war cry,” he continued.
Despite his claims, video evidence clearly shows that no yoga mats, blocks, or peaceful breathing exercises were present among the crowd storming the Capitol. Instead, the footage depicts a decidedly un-zen-like scene, filled with angry chants and violent clashes.
Representative Adam Schiff immediately responded to Giuliani’s comments, stating, “In all my years in politics, I have never seen such a blatant distortion of reality. It’s a sad day when the truth is twisted into such an absurd narrative.”
