Trump Confirms Six Months Equal Five Weeks

President Donald Trump declared Friday that a six-month White House review of grocery prices had concluded within his original estimate of four to five weeks after the administration adopted a more accurate calendar for presidential promises. Under the new Freedom Calendar, one presidential week contains roughly 43 conventional days, enabling deadlines to arrive only after the president has met them. Officials said the reform eliminates the chronic liberal bias that previously forced weeks to end after seven days regardless of whether favorable results had appeared.

“People said four or five weeks, and that is exactly what we had—five enormous weeks, beautiful weeks, weeks with enough room for many months,” Trump said. “Biden had weak little seven-day weeks because he could not negotiate with the calendar. My weeks keep going until we win.” Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick praised the revised system as a long-overdue modernization of time, noting that Americans already accept daylight saving time and therefore have no principled objection to saving several months. The White House said the change proves food prices fell ahead of schedule, because the schedule remained open until officials located a sufficiently inexpensive carton of eggs.

Administration economists said the same measurement standards would soon apply to inflation, deficits, approval ratings and waiting times at government offices. Higher prices will be recorded in smaller “prosperity dollars,” while unfavorable polls will be converted into larger “patriot percentages.” Budget deficits may be expressed as future surpluses that have not yet completed the necessary paperwork. Critics insisting that six months remains longer than five weeks were dismissed as followers of legacy arithmetic, an obsolete system in which numbers retain fixed values even when they contradict a press release. Officials added that calendars, like election results and crowd sizes, are most reliable when certified by the person being measured. The six-month review therefore ended after exactly five weeks, because five presidential weeks equal six months.
